Announcing the New RCC™ Certification


Dennis Walsh & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of the Residential Construction Certified™ (RCC) Training Program. Designed to benefit those active in either resale or new home business, Residential Construction Certified™ delivers the most effective and comprehensive residential construction training ever created for real estate professionals.

“[This was] a new field of study for me,” said Carol Jean Hogan of Legacy Realty Company in Portland, OR. “I feel that now I can discuss elements of construction with a client without appearing clueless.”

RCC™ content covers materials, methods, terminology, systems, design and blueprint reading — as it follows the step-by-step construction of a home from the ground-up. Students complete a comprehensive note-taking certification workbook, learning at their own pace through extensive audio and video illustrated with hundreds of graphics and construction photos on CD-ROM.

“I found the training to be exciting and easy to follow. It reinforced what I thought, but was afraid to ask,” said Shari Ryan of Coldwell Banker Residential in Milford, CT. “Contractors talk to me like I'm supposed to know what the heck they’re saying. Usually I just nod in agreement and act sympathetic to their cause. I had a development of 20+ homes working with 3 different contractors this past year. With this wealth of new found knowledge I have actually gone over and tried it out on them. They got a kick out of it. I also saw a little more respect in their eyes. Successful completion of the course and an online open-book test earns the RCC™ certification. Once earned, the RCC™ certification also provides required credit towards the popular Certified New Home Specialist™ certification, real estate’s #1 choice for new home sales professionals.
