According to another study by Lowe’s, almost half of all homeowners surveyed say they most enjoy spending time in home improvement stores, followed by bookstores (23 percent), clothing and department stores (17 percent) and music stores (6 percent). Additionally, this construction knowledge leads to more savvy buyers when it comes time to make that new home purchase. No longer do buyers stare wide-eyed at a construction site watching what seems like the mystical process of a home being built - they recognize tools and techniques that were once mysterious. However, this doesn’t mean that buyers can nail down a new home deal without the help of a qualified real estate professional. Today’s buyers demand a professional who is savvy in the new home construction process as well as the new home buying process.
