Can I use
PowerPoint® 2000’s standard themes with my CNHSTM
presentation?
Yes. All of
PowerPoint®’s themes are fully compatible with the
CNHS Presentation BuilderTM. Some adjusting may be
required for the text and title fields to fit PowerPoint’s
backgrounds.
What is the
Master Slide?
The master
slide contains the content that will appear on all of the slides
in each presentation including the background, the design
elements and your name and broker information. Edit the text
fields on the master slide to personalize all of the slides at
once with your name and broker information.
Is it necessary
to have PowerPoint® 2000 installed on my computer to
use the CNHS Presentation BuilderTM?
Yes. The
PowerPoint® software allows you to customize your presentations
with your name and other information. You can also modify
transitions and effects, build your own slides to add to the
presentation as well as add your own graphics, photos and audio
and video clips.
Can I add
slides with my own information?
Yes. See Page
7 in this User’s Guide, “Adding Additional Slides
to Your Presentation.”
How do I
personalize my presentation with my name and company
information?
See Page 5
in this User’s Guide, “Personalize Your Presentation.”
Can my
presentation be posted on the Internet or an Intranet?
No!
Presentation slides are licensed for your use in one-on-one
presentations only. Any use of this content online or otherwise
constitutes copyright infringement.
Are the
presentation slides compatible with versions of PowerPoint®
previous to PowerPoint® 2000?
Your
presentation slides were created using and fully compatible with
PowerPoint® 2000. We cannot guarantee that the slides will
be compatible with previous versions of PowerPoint®.
Will the CNHS
Presentation BuilderTM work on my laptop?
Yes. Your
laptop computer is the most convenient way to deliver your
presentations anytime, anywhere. Of course, your laptop must
meet the minimum system configuration requirements.
Can I mix the
buyer-directed slides with the builder-directed slides in my
presentation?
Yes. You can
mix and match whichever slides you want to include in your
presentation. However, due to the formatting of the text and
photos, the slides you put together must all have the same
graphic style.
Why does the
presentation take so long to load on my computer?
The speed of
your computer will directly affect how fast your presentation
will load and play back. Newer systems optimized for multimedia
are recommended.
How can I add
to or edit the provided speaker notes for my presentation?
See Page 8
in the User’s Guide, “Using and Editing the Speaker
Notes.”
Why aren’t
all of the slides showing up when I run my presentation?
It’s possible
that some of your slides might be HIDDEN. To check: on the VIEW
menu, click SLIDE SORTER. Look at the Slide Numbers
(lower right corner of each slide thumbnail). For each slide
that has a gray strikethrough symbol over the Slide Number,
select the slide. Then on the SLIDE SHOW menu, click HIDE
SLIDE. This should “unhide” your slide.
How can I take
advantage of PowerPoint®'s powerful capabilities to
further customize my presentation?
PowerPoint®’s
documentation can show you the features and take you through the
steps necessary to further customize your presentations.
\How
can I jump to a particular slide in the presentation?
See Page 6
in this User’s Guide, “Navigating During Your
Presentation.”
I have made
changes to the presentation from the CD-ROM, but why can I not
save the file onto the CD-ROM?
The
presentation cannot be saved back to the CD-ROM as it is
Read-Only. You must choose SAVE AS from the FILE
menu to save the presentation onto your hard drive. It is
recommended that you save your presentation to your computer’s
Desktop. This will make it easy to find when you
actually run the presentation. Plus, if you save it with the
file extension .pps, you can run the presentation
without having the PowerPoint® software open.
