User Information - Certified New Home Specialist ToolBox™

Running the Program:

1. Insert the Disc into your CD-ROM drive. If the program does not open automatically after 20 to 30 seconds, the auto-run feature on your computer must be disabled. In this case, proceed to step 2.

2. On your Windows desktop, click START > Run. At the Run Window, type the following line: "D:/CNHSToolBox.exe" (where "D" is the letter of your CD-ROM drive).

3. Click. OK.

The Certified New Home Specialist ToolBox™ letters and forms are designed to work with Microsoft Word 2000® or later. The letters and forms may not open correctly or be customizable if you are using a version previous to Microsoft Word® 2000.

To Edit the Forms or Letters:

1. Open the form from your CNHS ToolBox™ CD-ROM by clicking the "VIEW/EDIT FORM" Button.

2. The form should open in Microsoft Word® automatically. Save it on your hard drive by clicking FILE > SAVE AS.

3. Choose the location to save the form and click SAVE. Now you can edit the form and save it as you would any other file on your hard drive. To open this form in the future, you will access the revised version from your hard drive and not the CD-ROM. However, if you make a mistake or would like to make a series of variations of the form, you can always access the original from the CD-ROM.
